About
Founded 1993, HECAA encourages the study of all aspects of
art and architecture from the long eighteenth century (ca. 1660
to 1830) through the promotion of education, research, confer-
ence activity, and publication. HECAA is devoted to fostering
graduate student participation in these activities and nurturing
the development of future scholarship. HECAA enjoys an interna-
tional membership and is an affiliate society of the American So- ciety for Eighteenth-Century Studies, the College Art Association, and the British Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies.
